Our bestseller which had its acceptance and recognition formalized by one of the leading Hygiene Institutes many years ago. This continues to be updated to this day. Our GEFATEX® Model 4200 has the advantage that it fits the mattress perfectly, and that the seams are laid out in such a way that even on the sides of the mattress no liquid can get into the mattress, not even

from below. ( Here our cover is different from one with all round elastic.) The cleaning personnel has no problems to clean the cover according to regulations.

Of course we also manufacture closed GEFATEX® Hygiene protective covers. We use these models for people with serious allergies, in psychosomatic medicine, with mattresses with the recommendation to turn these at regular intervals and with care giving services and Hygiene specialists who favour this model for different reasons. Since zips are about the least seal on those covers , we sow in a seal lip behind the zip and set the slider into a garage, hence the cover is sealed.

Our new development This is the newest offspring in our family of GEFATEX® Hygiene protective covers, which is also
covered by patents. Here we have combined the advantages of models 4200 and 4300 and don’t give liquids a chance to get into the mattress through the seams even in extreme cases. The large surfaces simply don’t have any seams any more. A tactical move which we think shows what our sowing department can do. One advantage of many of producing in your own country and to do justice to the brand and quality demands of “made in germany”.
